TeachArt2Me also offers the following additional services:
Art Development Assessment & Evaluation:
This evaluation is a valuable tool when unsure of where a child would be best placed in a course or to assess a child’s developmental skills and fine motor controls. Both 2-D & 3-D skills will be evaluated. Each evaluation takes approximately 40 minutes, which includes a 10-minute verbal assessment with the parent. It is performed in a fun, no-stress environment. Within 1 week, you will also receive a written report outlining the observations, determinations, and recommendations based on the child’s performance. The testing is administered by our Director who is expertly qualified in the field of both development and art. This evaluation, however should in no way substitute for a clinical test administered by the school system or medical professional.
Evaluation and Assessment scheduled for a 1 hour period based on availability.
Lessons in drawing, painting or clay are a great way to focus on discipline in a one-on-one relationship with your instructor. Lessons can be used as the participant desires, whether it be to sharpen skills before committing to the full course, to remediate or support areas where you may be struggling, or to just try something new without the pressure of performing with peers. Drawing may be scheduled for 30 minutes, however, painting and clay require a 1-hour minimum. Some painting and clay lessons incur an additional materials fee. Scheduling is on an ‘availability’ basis.
Cost:$45.00 per hour.
Preschool Readiness Therapy:
Our staff is trained and equipped to help your preschooler with basic skills such as pencil grasps, Fine Motor control, attention span development and more. Please inquire about our readiness therapy sessions and how we may be able to assist you in getting your child ready for success.
