Our Philosophy
At TeachArt2Me, we strive to offer the community, both child and adult, sound artistic instruction in a casual, creative atmosphere. We offer classes, workshops, and special programs taught by qualified art instructors. Our method of instruction pairs theory with experimentation, making you the student, the true creator of your work. We feel that it is the process of being creative that is most valuable. Anyone can make an art project, but understanding what goes into the process is true learning. We at TeachArt2Me are always willing to hear suggestions of mediums you would like to explore and will strive to meet your interests. At TeachArt2Me, no talent is required, only eagerness to learn and express yourself creatively!

August 14, 2010 - Our Fall Catalog is now completely available online. There are a few Summer Classes still available as well.
Special: Halloween Face Painting
This year we would like to offer you the opportunity to get painted by the professionals– Appointments will be taken in advance, but walk-ins are welcome. We will allow 15 minutes for each face, give or take. Tell us what you want to be - bring a picture if its something specific.
Full faces are $12 - Half masks are $8. Anything we feel is very detailed or stylized will incur additional fees if necessary.
We do not have Special Effects or Prosthetic Gore capabilities but will do blood and gore with paint to the best of our abilities. Whether you want to be a super hero, fairy princess or a spooky Kitty or vampire we’re the face place for you! We will take appointments for Saturday Oct 30th all day as needed and Sunday October 31st from 1pm through 5pm.

Policies
TA2Me does not refund for missed classes. Some class work may be caught up on during open studio hours however TA2Me staff is under no obligation to offer make ups outside of course hours. There are no Refunds or Credits for dropping a class after it begins. TA2Me reserves the right to switch instructors at any time.
Drop Off Policy - Children over the age of three may be dropped off for classes however they must be potty trained and independent. Children not ready may have parents accompany them to class. We encourage parents to allow children to be as independent as possible.
Closings will be listed on NBCconnecticut TV channel 30 and http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/ as soon as we are able. Please check periodically if you are questioning due to inclement weather.
