Our Summer Catalog
Summer Programs are designed to meet developmental needs based on age/grade level (make selections based on grade level entering in the fall). Special consideration may be made to accommodate siblings. Children should bring a smock, snack and drink on a daily bases. Instructors are TBA for all summer programs unless specified. Classes run five days a week, Monday through Friday, in three hour blocks, except for pre-school programs which run three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday for one and a half hour. Some children entering kindergarten may not be ready for our full week programs. We encourage those children interested in our programs to start with our preschool mini groups which go up to age 5. Children interested in Wheel Work and Make it Work note that these are "full day" programs and you must pack a lunch in addition to snacks/drinks.
TeachArt2Me offers 10% sibling discount for all full week summer programs (not to be combined with any other offers or discounts). The discount will be taken only from program fees, not material or firing fees. Discount does not apply to pre-school programs, Wheel Work, Make it Work, Pre-Art or Post-Art or Lunch Bunch.
Whenever possible students will take their break/lunch outdoors - we do at times walk to the Community Center across the street - let us know if this may be an issue.
Pre-Art and Post-Art: At TeachArt2Me we offer Pre-art and Post-art programs for your convenience. These programs will allow your child to keep busy and creative before or after their program. Please note that Pre-Art and Post-art pre-registration is $8. The fee increases to $10 when bought a-la-carte at time of program. See registration form for times available.
Lunch Bunch: We realize that half day programs can be tough for parents to work into their busy schedules. We are now offering a one hour time slight between our AM and PM sessions where your child can enjoy their packed lunch that you provide.. This is a great way to bridge the time between AM and PM sessions if your child is registered for both or to allow parents time to travel from other responsibilities. Lunch bunch is $8 per day pre-registered and $10 when added a-la-carte at program time.
Please note - TeachArt2Me is PEANUT FREE! We have had many allergic students in years past and have found it necessary for the health and safety of our students to not allow peanuts or related products into the center. Please pack your children's snacks and lunches with this in mind. Any child bringing a non-nut free snack will be given an alternative.
Class size is limited - please register early to assure your placement. Confirmations will be mailed by the first week of June. We will continue to accept registrations until classes are at capacity. We do not issue refunds for Summer programs - we will issue studio credit and may be able to accommodate changing programs. Please notify TeachArt2Me of any special needs or illness.
