Vacation Days
A series of fun filled project days. Grades K and up are welcome for this exciting drop in/drop off vacation workshop. Pre-school aged children may participate with a caretaker. Each day we will offer several projects in different mediums. Each One Hour block is $10 - we do not break hours/fees into halves. Clay and Pottery will incur additional fees. Parents may determine a budget for their child upon arrival.
Come for an hour or all hours, but please arrive close to the hour mark so we can time projects accordingly. We do not require registration for these workshops. This is a fun and flexible program. Please arrive at least one hour before the end of each session. We close from noon to 1pm for lunch. Late pickups will incur additional fees. . Please note the some days have more than one medium.
Monday, April 18
Collage and 2D Mixed Media (9am to Noon): Use magazine cutouts, scrapbooking paper, foil and more combined with paints, oil pastels and other drawing media to create 2D images and compositions, very creative!
Crafting (1pm - 4pm): Pompoms, foam, pipe cleaners, and other 3D media. A variety of kits to choose from.
Tuesday April 19
Drawing with Color (9am to Noon): Work with a variety of "color" dry medium like colored pencil, marker, crayon and more!
Clay/Paint Your Own (1pm - 4pm): Choose either self hardening or fireable clay (additional fee for fireable). Children (over 8) may be permitted to use to wheels (with prior experience).
Wednesday April 20

Cartooning (1pm - 4pm): Ever wonder how to draw your favorite characters? This is the workshop to learn the basics.
Fairy Houses, Princess Pretties (1pm - 4pm): Create a whimsical home for fairies out of boxes, moss, wood, and more. Or make dress-up clothes, princess mirrors, tiaras, and more!
Thursday, April 21
"Pop Art", Printmaking, and Graphics (9am to Noon): Get a basic understanding of making logos, advertising and Warhol like images using printmaking, drawing and painting. Great for kids who love cartooning, drawing, painting, or just want to try something new! ($3 for T-shirt)
Spring Has Sprung (1pm - 4pm): Flower pots, wind chimes, garden gnomes, mosaic stones, bird houses, bird feeders, and more!
Friday April 22
Everything Animals (9am to Noon): Create creatures big and small using booth 2D and 3D mediums. Plaster pets, drawing, velvet art and Model Magic are a few of the possibilities.
Painting and Faux Screen-Printing (1pm - 4pm): $3 for T-shirt
