After School Enrichment / Summer Camp
TeachArt2Me offers summer camps, childcare facilities and community programs the opportunity to enrich your participant's summer experience through the fine arts, crafts and creative disciplines.
TeachArt2Me is a developmentally based arts program that emphasizes age appropriate creative activities and techniques. At TeachArt2Me no talent is required, just an eagerness to learn and a willingness to express yourself through arts and crafts.
Programs can be 'built' to your specific needs. TeachArt2Me offers mediums such as painting, drawing, clay, sculpture, textile, folk craft, 'kids' crafts and much more.
TeachArt2Me can develop a one time special event or full program weeks long in duration. Most school age children benefit from a one hour long project or activity. Younger children (ages 3 to 5) work well in half hour increments. Toddlers 18 months to 3 years work well at 20 minute intervals.
Our qualified art instructors will prepare age appropriate and program specific projects for your groups. TeachArt2Me asks that any special needs or accommodations for the children be noted upon registration for the program.
TeachArt2Me has limited studio availability over the summer months. We ask that if you prefer to bus in to facility, to contact us with a selection of days and times ASAP so we have the best opportunity to accommodate your groups.
TeachArt2Me can also come to you within a fifteen mile radius of our studio, we will provide our services in your location. Programs outside the fifteen mile radius would need to make special arrangements in regard to travel compensation at the time of registration.
We at TeachArt2Me adhere to specific ratios of adults to children to best accommodate everyone and insure success - Toddlers 6:1, Pre-schoolers 10:1 and School Age Children 12:1. Larger groups may require additional staff from TeachArt2Me and special needs may require an aid.
The following fee schedule is based on per child fee materials and duration of program by age:
- Toddlers: 20 minutes, $4.25 per child
- Preschoolers: 30 minutes, $5.50 per child
- School Age: 1 hour, $8.00 per child
This includes standard materials which are: paper, glue, tape, scissors, feathers, pipe cleaners, google eyes, paint, drawing tools, foam, straws, popsicle sticks, pom-poms, sponges, beads, string, gimp, some clays, mask materials, fabrics and collage materials. Other items may be included on the list as warranted.
Specialty materials will incur an additional $2 per child fee. These include: some clays, wood, plaster, mirrors, pre-fabricated forms, glass, candle making supplies and more.
T-shirt projects such as faux screen printing, tie-dye, batik and stamp & stencil design will incur an additional $3 fee per child to accommodate the high overhead of quality t-shirts and professional supplies.
Centers/programs with high volume of participating children, over 35 of any age group, may pay an hourly rate. This rate applies to all ages and reflects time staff is in your center for setup and cleanup. Material fees are still charged per participating child. This option for large groups is charged at $42 per hour and can save large centers or programs up to 25% of standard program costs.
Our fees are not adjusted for use of our facility. The fees are global whether you come to us or we go to you.
