Birthday Parties
A TeachArt2Me birthday party is a unique experience, great for any age! Our 2 hour parties include a 45 minute "arts & crafts" project within the theme you choose, leaving your guests 20 minutes for cake and treats and ample time for present opening and "transitioning". Our host staff will assist in all aspects of your party and an experienced instructor will join you for the project portion of the party (parties under 10 guests may only have one staff member). All our projects are age appropriate and educational.
Party size is limited to 20 children including the birthday child and siblings. Due to space constraints we ask only a few necessary adult guests remain in the party room for the duration of the event - we typically have the adjoining classrooms available for adults to use.
*Host families are welcome to provide refreshments for adult guests but please make us aware that you intend to use the adjoining room at time of booking.
Several party packages are available. Add-ons can be accommodated per request!
1/3 deposit required for reservation. Dates without deposit are held for only 48 hours. Party Balance to be paid in full at end of party. Gratuity, if desired is not included. Parties cancelled less than one week before date will forfeit deposit. Rescheduling may be possible without penalty. Host Family assumes responsibility for guests behavior and supervision. A 10% military discounts will be given to all active duty military, spouses, and immediate family upon proof of military identification card.
Parties are available Saturdays from 10am-8pm and Sundays from 11am-6pm. Friday evenings and weekdays are subject to studio availability.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, personal check, and cash, a 1/3 deposit is required of all parties to confirm dates and times. Deposits are nonrefundable within 7 days prior to party date with exceptions due to act of nature, dire illness, or serious unforeseen circumstances. TeachArt2Me reserves the right to make final refund determinations. While gratuity for host staff is not expected; TeachArt2Me does not discourage families from recognizing exemplary service.
Standard Birthday Party Packages
Basic Party: Includes project materials; table banner; party favors for each child; craft kit for the birthday child; invitations & thank yous. $160 up to 10 children; $9.25 for each additional child.
Apprentice Party: Includes project materials; table banner; loot bags for each child; craft kit for the birthday child; paper products for cake and drinks; a balloon bouquet; invitations & thank yous. $190 up to 10 children; $11.25 for each additional child.
Master Party: Includes project materials; table banner; deluxe loot bags for each child; craft kit for the birthday child; paper products for cake and drinks; a balloon bouquet; Party hat 'project' materials; invitations and thank yous. $224 up to 10 children; $13 for each additional child.
There is an additional $3 per child cost for the T-shirt and sand art projects
Customized: Additional $25 for a customized project, plus possible materials fee.
Standard Party Options And Descriptions:
For Ages 3 to 5
- Create a Creature: Pom-poms, muppet fur, pipe cleaners, google eyes, and your imagination make these creatures come alive!
- Big Box O' Beads: Little ones will love to create their own unique jewelry. Larger beads for little fingers and stretchy cord make this project perfect for the youngest partygoers.
- Birthday Clay: Self-hardening clay can be made into just about anything! It can be a bit messy, so be prepared. Clay hardens within 24 hours but goes home 'soft'.
- 'Faux' Screen printing T-shirt: A great project for any age! Kids will create their own designs with a faux screen printing technique we developed. $3 additional per each child.
- Foamie Fun: Fantastic foamies that peel & stick! Book marks, magnets, frames & more. Kids can go creatively crazy with this ever popular & colorful craft.
Ages 6-8

- Sand Art: Design plastic or glass bottles with rainbows of sand, paint a sand picture and fill a bracelet, pen, necklace or other novelty item. $3 additional per child.

Specialty Parties
Specialty parties follow the same format as our standard parties, however special attention is paid to each party's particular theme. Party projects are performed 'workshop style' as the children move from station to station. Projects typically include 'dress up' props and themed accessories. Specialty parties are not recommended for broad age range parties.

- Pretty Princess: Tiaras, wands, & pink princess 'pretties'; every little girls' dream!
- Fairy Fantasy: Magic wands, glitter & wings; just a few of our fairy things. A wish come true!
- Musical Madness: Make toys that make some noise. Drum, rattles, rain sticks - Hooray - When we're all done we'll have a parade!
- Safari Adventure: Lions, tigers and giraffes? Oh my! Join our journey into the plains & discover the animal in all of us.
- Digging Dinosaurs: Go back in time and create 'terrible lizards' of your own. Go on a 'Dig' and discover fossils. Fun for everyone.
Ages 6-8
- Fashion Fun : Share the latest fashion trends with your friends! Accessories galore & more!
- Wild Webkins: Create cool accessories for your furry friends, make a new outfit, design some 'room' decor - take a spin on our wheel of WOW.
- Sand & Sea: Under water, on the shore, fish, crabs, castles amp; more. Mermaids to sea kings will get 'caught up' in the adventure.
- American Girl: Make matching accessories for your doll and you. Create a mini scrapbook, frame and much more. Learn some history too!
Ages 9-11
- Project Runway: Drawing fashion figures & designing new looks. Accessorizing will be surprising when you see what cool looks you create! Accept the fashion challenge!
- Comics & Cartoons: Cartooning in the classic style. Smiles, smirks, noses & eyes, every new character will be a surprise!
- American Girl: Make matching accessories for your doll and you. Create a mini scrapbook, frame and much more. Learn some history too!
- Wild Webkins: Create cool accessories for your furry friends, make a new outfit, design some 'room' decor - take a spin on our wheel of WOW.
Paint Your Own Pottery Parties
Paint your own pottery in our LEAD FREE studio! You can choose from a 'Functional', 'Decorative', 'Non-Functional' or 'Bank' theme. Paint your own pottery is a fun, creative way to celebrate your special day. You may choose any of our 'standard' party packages and purchase a 'pottery add on' or have a 'Hot Pot' pottery package.
Themes
- Functional - Includes mugs, bowls and plates.
- Decorative - Includes vases, boxes and frames.
- Non-Functional - Includes a variety of animal figures.
- Piggy Banks - Many animals not just pigs.
- Choose from a variety.
'Hot Pot' Party - Our 2 hour party includes all pottery, glaze and firing, table coverings, paper products for cake and drinks, Invitations and thank-yous, a plate your guests 'sign' and decorate for the Birthday child and a party favor for each guest. $200 for up to 10 guests. $14 each additional guest.
All pottery will be fired after the party and will be assigned a 'pick up date'. Host party is responsible for pottery pick up and distribution.
All pottery parties are for ages 6 and up ONLY.
Food Package Options
Pizza Package: Add a Pizza Package to any of our in studio party packages for an additional $75. All pizza packages add an additional half-hour of party time, which includes serving, eating, clean up and "potty break". Pizza Package includes 2 large cheese pies 2 64 oz. juices with choices of apple, grape, or fruit blend, all paper products for pizza and drinks, and additional time in room with staff. Pizza toppings $2.50 each. Additional pie for $16 each and $3 for each additional juice. Pizza Provided by Cavros Pizza in East Hartford.
*Due to department of health regulations, TeachArt2Me regrets that any meals/pizza provided by anyone other than our approved vendor is not permitted.
*Special exceptions can be made due to food allergies, or dietary requirements.
Cakes & other information: Unfortunately TeachArt2Me is unable to provide birthday cakes due to lack of refrigeration space. We ask that families provide their own cakes. Parties not booked with pizza package may purchase 64 oz juices at $3 per bottle or bring their own beverages. Only snacks in sealed packages may be brought in per board of health regulations.

Offsite Party Enrichment
Looking for Arts & Crafts enrichment at your child's party, in your home? We can provide projects and activities on an hourly basis plus the cost of per child materials. This option does not include our full service party package & hosting, just the projects with an instructor. Standard projects incur a $2 per child fee for materials, T-shirts and sand art projects incur a $5 per child materials fee. Projects may be chosen from our standard party package options only.
Flat rates-per hour/materials
- $40 for up to 8 children, 1 staff for 1 hour
- $60 for 8 to 12 children, 1 staff for 1 hour
- $80 for 12 to 18 children, 2 staff for 1.5 hours (1 or 2 groups project dependent)
- $95 for 18 to 24 children, 2 staff for 2 hours (2 groups)

Full Service Remote Parties
Sit back & enjoy your child's celebration, we'll do it all. Recommended for parties of more than 10 children. Pick any of our standard party options; specialty parties are not available for remotes.
Basic Remote: $195, 10 child minimum, $10.00 for each additional child.
Apprentice Remote: $230, 10 child minimum, $12.00 for each additional child.
Master Remote: $280, 10 child minimum, $14.00 for each additional child.
We are able to provide tables & up to 16 chairs at no additional charge. Canopy Rental is available at $20 per 10x10 canopy per party. Additional tables, $5 each, chairs are $1 each.
Driving radius for a remote or offsite enrichment is 25 miles, over 25 mile radius is an additional $2.50 per mile as reported by MapQuest.com. Note; we make exceptions for Military parties at Groton Sub base.
New Add On Packages
We now have fun add ons for your remote or offsite birthday parties. Note that these options are weather permitting and require adequate space. These add ons are not available independently, only as an add on to another party option.
One hour add on option available for sand art and tye-dye all other standard art projects are more conducive to an additional hour of "play time" for the following add ons.
Mini Moonbounce: (For ages 6 and under) Enjoy our little tikes canopy mini moonbounce. Our moonbounce allows 3-4 children at a time, ages 6 and under (total weight not to exceed 250lbs) to jump and bounce and expend all that extra energy. Easy step up to enter, and slide down to exit. Must have soft surface on lawn to stake moon bounce into. Not for parking lots or concrete surfaces.
- 1 hour $75 (during art activity)
- 2 hours $140 (during and after art activity)
Parachute: (For ages 7 and under) Fill it with balls, stuffed animals, or other fun toys to toss. Gather around and pop the parachute, pop it again and run underneath. Play duck-duck-goose parachute style. Fun for everyone!
- 1 hour $45 (during art activity)
- 2 hours $75 (during and after art activity)
Inflatable "Basket" Ball: (For ages 10 and under) Enjoy our fun inflatable giant hoop and all the balls to go with it. Toss for points or just for fun!
Giant Inflatable Bowling Game: (For ages 10 and under) Join the fun in knocking down our giant inflatable bowling pins with our giant inflatable ball. You've never seen anything like it!
Get both "ball" games!

Face Painting Add On
Any party can have a face painting add on - Face painting will take place as children finish their project and before they eat. Face painting requires specialized staff - prices reflect this fact. Large parties may require additional time in half hour blocks to accommodate your needs. Face Painting as an "Add On" can be added to any of our party packages either in studio or offsite, as long as an art project is chosen, otherwise we offer a separate option for face painting only.

Painters will gladly do a combination of full faces as well as cheek art.
Glitter Tattoos: Fun 1 to 2 inch sparkling designs, many to choose form. Select your design, glitter colors and add some sparkle to your event. Tattoos last for up to 2 weeks with proper care. Great option for pool parties. $100 for up to 20 tattoos (small and medium only)
OR As add on - $40 for up to 15 tattoos $3 each additional tattoo
Large parties may require additional time.
Offsite Face Painting ONLY

Face Painters are available for individual bookings. Face painting parties/events are charged on an hourly basis. We can comfortably paint 12-15 faces within one hour. This allows for transitioning kids in and out of the chair and decision making. Large events such as public festivals or large corporate parties may warrant multiple painters who can paint at a rate of 15-18 faces per hour. Please allow painter to arrive 15 minutes ahead for set up.
*All paints are make-up artist quality and FDA compliant, removable with soap and water.
- $125 for the first hour
- $100 for each additional hour
Please call studio for non-profit event rates. Painters will gladly do a combination of full faces as well as cheek art.
